This straightener will not snag your hair and cause it to break like other models as well.  The plates are made of titanium rather than ceramic and they work great.  The narrow size also makes it easy for you to flip your hair around. 

Some say that there is a gap between the plates, but the gap is only about 1mm so unless you have super fine hair, it should be more than enough.  This also goes for $75 by the way.
